It is exciting to confirm that ISM will continue to develop the secondary school department in future academic years. Year 9 is already confirmed for August 2011, ensuring that all current students can remain at ISM. Our present Year 8 continues to flourish in response to the Upper School campus development and the news that secondary education will continue to grow at ISM. Phase Two of our upper campus will be completed during this summer, ensuring that our classrooms and facilities meet the demands of a growing school population.

The following year (2012-13) we will see the launch of our IGCSE courses as children will be offered the opportunity to complete recognized external examinations for the first time at ISM.  In preparation for this important development our secondary staff will grow considerably next year led by a new Secondary School based Deputy Head of School.  The interest in this position has been exceptional and we look forward to announcing this appointment in due course.

Crucial to the British Schools Group philosophy of course is that our school retains the intimate relationship we have with our community. This ethos will ensure that while we expand, success will be measured by the quality of education we achieve rather than simply the growth of our school.
